(Washington, DC)—A Chinese translation of the Executive Summary of the 2013 Annual Report of the Congressional-Executive Commission on China is now available on the Commission’s Web site at http://www.cecc.gov/publications/annual-reports

The Executive Summary provides information on human rights and rule of law developments in China with a focus on the following issues:

The Congressional-Executive Commission on China was created by Congress in October 2000 to monitor human rights and the development of the rule of law in China, and to submit an annual report to the President and the Congress. Members of the Commission are nine Representatives and nine Senators from both parties, along with five senior officials in the Executive Branch, representing the Department of State, the Department of Labor, the Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

委员会的成员为两党的9位众议员和9位参议员及代表国务院、劳工部、商务部和美国国际开发署的5名高级行政官员。
